From Building Site to Brand: Sol Centre Launch Images
Sol Centre began as dust, scaffolding and a bold idea and became a calm, inclusive North London wellness space built for real community. When founder Adriana brought me in, she didn’t ask for “a few photos for the website.” She wanted a launch-ready brand image library that could carry her new business across web, social, bookings and future press.
The Women’s Rugby World Cup: Seen From the Inside
Photographing the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 was a career milestone and a deeply personal, physical, creative commitment. As a female sports photographer working across rugby’s biggest stage, I documented not only elite performance, but the human stories and cultural shift happening around women’s sport. This article reflects on the connections formed, perceptions changed and futures reimagined.
Authentic Yoga Photography Rooted in Real Practice
Photographing Iyengar Yoga London was more to me than a commission, it was a meeting of practice and purpose. Drawing on decades of yoga experience and a deep understanding of the body, this shoot captures authentic, grounded yoga through a natural, fly-on-the-wall photographic approach to capture the joy of yoga as it is lived and breathed.
World Sports Photography Finalist 2026: Women’s Rugby
Being selected as a World Sports Photography Awards finalist 2026 for my work at the Women’s Rugby World Cup is both an honour and a moment of reflection. This project was about committing to women’s rugby at scale, navigating real financial and logistical challenges, and staying true to a belief that these stories deserve time, care and visibility. This post offers a behind-the-scenes insight into the work, the archive, and why making it mattered so much to me.
Jess Phillips MP Portrait for the RPS 40% Project
Photographing Jess Phillips MP in the heart of her Birmingham Yardley constituency for the RPS 40% Project was a reminder of how powerful women’s stories become when told by women themselves. Celebrating visibility, leadership and the strength behind public service. As a photographer dedicated to portraying movement, authenticity, and women leading from the front, this portrait felt like a natural extension of my work, and a celebration of women doing things together to shift the narrative.
Photographing the Anglo-American Padel Cup 2025
When I stepped onto the court as the official photographer for the inaugural Anglo-American Padel Cup, I didn’t know what to expect. Fresh from photographing the Rugby World Cup, I was craving something new and padel turned out to be exactly that: fast, social, inclusive, and visually alive. Photographing this growing sport in such a friendly setting reminded me why I love what I do, finding rhythm, competition and connection in sport.
Rugby World Cup ‘Where we belong’ Launch
On a bright Saturday in Brighton, I had the privilege of photographing the launch of ‘Where We Belong’ a powerful campaign unveiled at the very top of the i360. The event also marked the Women’s Rugby World Cup and UK Sport’s joint pledge to drive greater inclusion across the British sports industry.
40th AOP Photography Awards Finalist, 2025
I’m over the moon to be nominated as a Finalist in the 40th AOP Photographer Awards, Sports category. This is work in progress as I aim to capture the emotional intensity of rising British boxer Vivien Parsons. This ongoing portrait series documents her journey and personal growth, purposely offering an alternative to conventional boxing imagery and celebrate the real, human stories within sport.
Rugby Journal 30: Rugby, Representation & Real Stories
In a borough better known for football, one rugby club is rewriting the playbook on community, identity and grit. Through my lens, Haringey Rhinos’ story unfolded not just in tackles and scrums, but in shared laughter, fierce pride, and a celebration of difference. This is rugby how it really looks and how it really feels.
Feel the Fight: Haringey Box Cup 2025
A few weeks ago, I photographed the legendary Haringey Box Cup, one of Europe’s largest and most respected amateur boxing tournaments. I went with a very intentional lens. I wanted to feel into the atmosphere, not just observe it. That place you ringside as if you were right there too.
In a world chasing speed and perfection, I’m leaning into the imperfect. The raw, the real, the human-made images that move you. AI can impersonate a picture, but it can’t feel a moment. Because embracing imperfection, I think that’s the new creative superpower.
Elle Mace Podcast: The Story Behind the Lens
People often remember the image, not the photographer behind the lens and I’ve always been fine with that. But in this conversation with Elle Mace for the ‘More to Life’ podcast, I opened up. About my journey, my health, my values and why I’m so passionate about creating honest, human-focused photography. Whether you're a brand, athlete or editor looking for imagery with real depth, this story shares what moves the way I shoot.
A Love Letter to Women's Rugby
Step into a world of women's rugby through my lens, where each photograph captures not only the action, but the stories of identity, sisterhood and the aspirations of young fans. It’s not just about who we see on the pitch, but who’s trusted to tell the story.
Capturing the heart of Cricket in Communities
I was commissioned by the ECB to document the unsung heroes behind 'Get Set Weekend' the volunteers, families, and local legends at Stratford Cricket Club who help community cricket thrive. Through authentic photographic storytelling, here’s a glimpse into the heart of a club where teamwork goes far beyond the boundary.
World Rugby, Rugby World Cup 2025 Experiences
Glorious spring light, a pitch steeped in history, and an event pulsing with excitement: the launch of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Experiences was a dream brief. As someone deeply embedded in rugby culture, I knew this shoot would feel like home. With familiar faces all around and a joyous atmosphere, I set out to capture the emotion, detail, and energy that define the evolving world of women’s rugby and here’s how it all unfolded behind the lens.
Sports Aid Wheelchair Basketball Tournament 2025
The fast-paced, emotionally charged energy of wheelchair basketball isn’t something you just watch, you feel it. In March 2025, I had the privilege of photographing the SportsAid Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at Copper Box Arena. The roar of the crowd, the intensity on court, the joyful camaraderie between players. It was a masterclass in resilience, inclusivity and fierce competition. This is the kind of work that fuels me as a documentary & sports event photographer. This is the story behind the images.
Shortlisted Rugby Journal Photographer of the Year
For the fourth year in a row, I’ve been shortlisted for Rugby Journal’s Photographer of the Year. This year’s image, taken at the England vs. Ireland Six Nations match, captures the sheer joy and energy of the women’s game. Rugby is more than a sport to me, it’s a passion, a community, and a privilege to document.
Read more about what this nomination means and why rugby remains my favourite sport to photograph.
World Sports Photography Awards Finalist
I was thrilled to be announced as a finalist in the 2025 World Sports Photography Awards for my photograph of GB skateboarder Tommy Calvert in the Urban & Extreme category. A pleasant surprise on a cold winter day, knowing that an image captured in the warm summer sunshine of East London had been shortlisted for such a highly acclaimed global award.
Sports Category AOP Award Finalist, a Full Circle moment
Being a finalist in the 39th AOP Awards meant the absolute world to me, not just for my own journey, but for the recognition of women’s sport in a space that often overlooks it.
The student in me who once dreamed of being part of this organisation would be proud. But more importantly, it’s a win for visibility, for the women in sport whose stories deserve to be told and celebrated. And for that, this moment will always be bigger than just me.
BBC World Service Sports Hour Interview with Shourjo Sarkar
The sports photography industry is still overwhelmingly male. Even as women’s sport gains visibility, the people capturing it remain mostly men. Why? Because there's still an ingrained belief that technical roles like photography belong to men.
In my conversation with Shourjo Sarkar on BBC Sports Hour, we discussed why women need to trust other women to do the job, whether behind the camera, in the editor’s chair, or on the pitch. Women see the game differently, and that perspective is vital in telling authentic sporting stories. Listen in as we break down what needs to change to make real progress.
Force of Nature A Photographic Journey Through Stillness
In a time when the world paused, nature didn’t. ‘Force of Nature’ is a deeply personal and soulful photography project born from lockdown stillness and reconnection to home. Elite London photographer Karen Yeomans turns her lens to frozen wildflowers, each one captured with symbolic weight, beauty, and technical precision. With macro detail and poetic storytelling, this series invites us to find resilience, healing, and belonging in the smallest corners of the natural world.
