Aerial and paddleboard yoga photography in Bermuda
Kallie Marcus is the founder of Natural Movement Ltd in Hamilton, Bermuda, teaching aerial yoga, paddleboard yoga and movement classes drawn from a background in gymnastics and dance. This shoot was made on the coastline at the end of the day, working with the last hour of light rather than a studio set up, to show the range of movement her teaching covers.
Working outdoors on sand and water at sunset means the light changes every few minutes, so the session followed Kallie's movement rather than a fixed shot list, catching a pose as it happened instead of asking her to hold it for the camera. That is also closer to how she actually teaches: gymnastics, aerial work and paddleboard yoga are all about controlled motion, not a static position, and the images needed to carry that.
