Tass Cambitzi-Herrera: Fitness and Yoga Brand Portraits
Personal brand photography for yoga and fitness teachers
Tass Cambitzi-Herrera came to me with a clear brief: to be photographed as she actually is, strong, grounded and shaped by years of teaching yoga and fitness alongside her own recovery and training background. She wanted images that moved away from the softness often expected of yoga photography and toward something that read as power and clarity instead.
Working with someone who already understands movement changes how a shoot runs. I didn't need to explain what I was looking for, Tass gave it to me across a full session, holding both strength and stillness without being asked twice. As she put it herself: "The balance of softness and strength was an element I wanted to tap into, as well as working with someone who understands movement." That balance is what the session was built around.
This sits alongside my yoga and Pilates brand photography for Elina Patrou as another personal brand session built the same way. For movement photography further afield, there is an aerial and paddleboard yoga shoot on the Bermuda coastline. Everything else is in the movement and wellbeing portfolio, and here is how commissions run.
Strength photographs best when the person in front of the camera already owns it.
