A Soulful Study in Wildflowers
Time and Healing

Responsive Line

In a time when the world paused, nature didn’t. ‘Force of Nature’ is a deeply personal and soulful photography project born from lockdown stillness and reconnection to home. Elite London photographer Karen Yeomans turns her lens to frozen wildflowers, each one captured with symbolic weight, beauty, and technical precision. With macro detail and poetic storytelling, this series invites us to find resilience, healing, and belonging in the smallest corners of the natural world. As a commercial and editorial photographer, I’m often asked to capture people in motion, brands in transformation, or athletes in peak performance. But this work, this slowed-down, nature-anchored project revealed the same power through stillness. The same resilience that moves through an elite fighter’s body courses through a thistle’s defiance. The same softness found in a yoga teacher’s breath shows up in the gentle droop of a cow parsley frond.

‘Force of Nature’ is more than visual poetry. It’s a portfolio piece that speaks to my core values: authenticity, presence, and emotional intelligence. The same qualities I bring to every commercial or lifestyle shoot. Whether I’m photographing an MMA fight or a wellness retreat, I’m looking for the human detail that makes it meaningful. The unseen thread that ties a person to a place, a brand to a story, a viewer to a feeling.
