Some shoots simply flow. This one with movement director and creative powerhouse Ida May was one of those rare days where everything clicked, from the first to the last. The concept was White Light, a creative fusion of dance, elegance, and slow shutter photography. We let the light lead us. I played with longer exposures to capture motion blur, layering movement into each frame. What emerged was a series of striking, soulful images that hold energy, emotion, and stillness all at once.

Ida is more than a dancer, she’s a choreographer, performer, fitness expert, and a master of creating space where creativity can breathe. Her background working with iconic names like Adidas, Nike, Coco de Mer, and David Beckham shows just how versatile and magnetic she is. In front of my lens, that spirit was tangible. Her joy was infectious, and her presence filled the room. There were multiple takes, yes, but not because anything was off. We just kept going because it was fun. Because it felt good. That’s when you know you’re in the zone: when the artistry flows without effort.
