Telling Real Stories
Through Movement and Light

Responsive Line

This project documents Kia's journey into roller skating as a way to support her mental wellbeing and how, in learning to move on wheels, she found something bigger: confidence, connection, and community. We met at dawn, just as the city began to stir, and shot along quiet London streets bathed in soft golden light. The atmosphere was one of quiet anticipation, where every glide and every laugh felt fresh and unfiltered. As a photographer, I’m always drawn to movement, not just physical, but emotional and personal movement. This is where my heart sits when I work: capturing real people in their element, their transformation, their spark. It’s about finding those honest moments when people open up and allow the camera to witness something true. The London roller skating scene is layered, part sport, part art, and full of heart. Shooting in this space offered a perfect blend of street energy and soulful expression, bringing my experience in lifestyle and sports photography into something beautifully human.

If you’re a brand, small business or creative agency looking to commission work that tells stories with depth and feeling, I’d love to connect. I bring over 20 years of visual storytelling, with a calm, collaborative approach and a passion for showing what really matters in the frame.
