Restorative Yoga Book Photography, London

Where stillness becomes something you can feel

When Anna Ashby asked me to photograph Restorative Yoga: Power Presence Practice, I knew this was going to ask something different of me.

Restorative yoga isn't performed. It's inhabited. Which means the photography can't just document, it has to listen. Every image in this book had to carry both anatomical clarity and something softer: the quality of breath that changes in a long hold, the weight of a body that's finally let go. I worked closely with Anna and the creative team to shape each shot with that intention. Light, props, pace, nothing was arbitrary. The result is a body of work I'm genuinely proud of: images built from the inside out, made by a photographer who has practised this work, not just observed it.

That lived experience is the difference. When you commission photography for a wellness publication, you need someone who understands what you're trying to communicate on a felt level, who can hold the technical brief and the emotional one at the same time. If you're creating a yoga or wellness publication, developing a brand identity, or building visual content with real depth and purpose, I'd love to talk. I bring the same care and precision to every commission, clear creative direction, warm collaboration, and imagery that's built to last.
