Urban Yoga Portraits in Central London with Kino MacGregor

Responsive Line

In the heart of London’s Regent Street, amidst the city’s vibrant rhythm and hum, I had the honour of photographing Kino MacGregor, a global voice in Ashtanga Yoga and founder of Miami Life Center. This shoot was about contrast. We brought a quiet, meditative presence into one of London’s busiest corners. Kino’s energy, calm, connected, and entirely authentic, grounded the images. It was a beautiful challenge to balance the buzz of the city with the softness of breath-led movement. Her deep embodiment of yoga shows in every gesture, and that’s what I aim to capture, not just poses, but presence. Our session flowed from natural light portraits to dramatic, uniquely positioned shots. Whether she was mid-practice or simply breathing, every frame was led by intention.

I’m drawn to these moments, real, raw, quietly powerful. They tell the story of a teacher, a movement guide, a seeker on her own path. And that’s the heart of my work. Whether it’s for editorial, campaigns, or your own visual content, my goal is to reflect your truth and spirit in a way that invites connection. As a yoga photographer with a deep background in movement and commercial imagery, I create work that supports your message and aligns with your values. This shoot with Kino MacGregor is a perfect example, soulful, experimental and creative. If you're looking for someone to create thoughtful, movement-led content with purpose and artistry, let's talk.
