When Gemma Nash reached out to collaborate, she was clear, this brand shoot needed to feel like her. She wanted imagery that cut through the clichés of yoga photography, choosing something vibrant, grounded, and full of life. As a Senior Yoga Teacher, trained in Pregnancy and Post-Natal Yoga, and a practitioner of Yamuna Body Rolling, her work speaks to strength, wisdom, and creative care and that’s what we set out to translate into photography. Our shoot wasn’t just a photoshoot, it was a co-created process. We worked through her brand mood, colours, personal references and teaching ethos ahead of time. From there, we carved out a visual story that would serve across her website and promotional channels. She brought her vision and voice, and I brought my own lived yoga knowledge, a sharp creative eye, and years of experience behind the camera. On set, we laughed a lot. That energy, trust and alignment filtered into the frames, bright tones, soft light, movement-led moments. Each image reflects not only Gemma’s teaching but also her personality and presence. It’s bold work, rooted in breath, body and authenticity.
