Gemma Nash: Bold, Soulful Photography for a Yoga Teacher
Personal brand photography for pregnancy and Vinyasa yoga
When Gemma Nash reached out to collaborate, she was clear that this brand shoot needed to feel like her. She wanted imagery that cut through the clichés of yoga photography, vibrant, grounded and full of life. As a Senior Yoga Teacher based in Winchester, trained in Pregnancy and Post Natal Yoga and a certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner, her work speaks to strength, wisdom and creative care, and that is what we set out to translate into photography.
This was a co-created process rather than a standard portrait session. We worked through her brand mood, colours and teaching ethos ahead of time, then built a visual story to serve her website and promotional channels: bright, saturated colour for the personality shots, a quieter black and white register for the deep stretches where line and flexibility needed to carry the image alone. My own years of yoga practice let each pose stay technically sound while the set stayed genuinely playful, and that trust is what shows up in the frames.
