Every leap carries courage, instinct and trust

As a parkour photographer, I’m drawn to the moment movement becomes a test of instinct, courage and trust.

This documentary film and stills project with Georgia Munroe began during the pandemic, when movement, space and human connection felt more precious than ever. With restrictions limiting contact, we worked outdoors to explore parkour as both a physical practice and a mindset: a way of reading the city, adapting to obstacles and finding confidence in uncertainty.

For me, parkour is compelling because it is not about the trick. It is about connection with the environment: the preparation, judgement and nerve; the internal work that happens before the visible leap.

That is where the strongest images live. They show the body working with its surroundings, the mind negotiating risk, and the athlete finding possibility where most people would see a wall.

This project also gives future clients a clear sense of how I work on active, physical briefs: responsive, visually alert and focused on making images that feel credible, cinematic and commercially useful without losing the honesty of the person in front of the camera.
