Powerful Photography from
the Heart of the Fight

There’s a certain energy backstage at a fight night, calm and chaos in equal measure. Sweat drips, coaches whisper final words, the crowd hums just beyond the curtain. This is where the story starts for me, not just under the lights, but behind them. At War & Redemption, I was on assignment photographing Pia Hagen, a fierce and focused Muay Thai and MMA fighter. Our ongoing photo project traces her journey through the fight world, her grit, her grace, and everything between. This night in London wasn’t just another event, it was a test of spirit, endurance, and fire. As a sports and lifestyle photographer, I’m drawn to the honest moments, before the walkout, the second the bell rings, the quiet between rounds. These are the spaces where the story unfolds. I’m not here to shoot hype. I’m here to document raw truth through elite-level imagery that connects, visually and emotionally. Pia trains out of Fight City Gym, and that dedication shows. She’s not just a fighter; she’s an emblem of what I look for in every athlete I work with: commitment, passion, and presence. Through this series, we’re building a visual narrative of what it really takes to rise through MMA’s demanding ranks.

Whether you're a brand, promoter, gym, or editor looking to commission a commercial photographer who can meet the intensity of the moment and still find the soul in the sweat, you’re in the right place. I bring two decades of creative experience, dynamic energy, and a genuine love of sport to every frame. This is more than action photography. This is storytelling with edge, empathy, and intention.
