Visual storytelling
horse & human connection

There are moments behind the camera when I feel time slow down and this shoot with Fay Rosamond was one of them. She moves with such intuitive grace around horses, not as their owner or trainer, but as their equal. There’s no domination, no force. Just presence. Breath. And an unspoken conversation that runs deeper than words. This shoot wasn’t about posed perfection. It was about real connection. Fay’s horsemanship work is rooted in respect and deep listening. My job as a lifestyle and commercial photographer was to honour that, with gentle composition, natural light, and the patience to capture the in-between. The glance, the lean-in, the calm tension in the space between a hand and a muzzle. Her horses aren’t props. They’re partners. And that’s what makes these equine portraits so powerful. Whether working on the ground or walking quietly alongside, Fay brings a soulful, ceremonial quality to her interactions. It was vital to translate that into images that feel as much as they show.

I’m an advertising photographer with a background in capturing movement, lifestyle and soul and I love working with people like Fay, whose brand story is a true extension of who they are. My work is about creating brand imagery that resonates deeply and visually honours your values, whether you're working with horses, bodies, nature or spirit. This isn’t just horse photography. It’s a celebration of the wild, untamed, and deeply loving connection between species. These images are made for brands and individuals who lead with heart, and who want visuals that speak with integrity.
