Atelier 108 with Rachel Okimo
A Soulful Movement Portrait

Responsive Line

When I was commissioned to create the advertising imagery for Atelier 108, I knew this wasn’t going to be your average wellness shoot. Rachel Okimo’s vision, fusing yoga, biomechanics, creative movement, and psychospiritual wisdom called for something more intuitive, more textured. We needed to show the unseen: the motion, emotion, and energy that moves through the body when practice becomes embodied expression. I approached this shoot not just as a commercial photographer, but as a visual translator of Rachel’s unique voice. Using slow shutter and multiple exposure techniques, I was able to layer moments, motion trails, breath, stillness into images that reflect how she works: intuitively, creatively, and with depth. These weren’t posed pictures. They were real moments, choreographed only by the rhythm of Rachel’s own flow.

What fuels my photography is the pulse of a story, and here I found a rich one about transformation, space-holding, and the courage to be seen as we are. Whether it’s a yoga brand, a personal trainer, or a wellness coach, I’m not just making pretty pictures. I’m creating evocative images that speak to your clients, your ethos, and your way of working. This shoot was a collaboration of spirit and skill. The result? A gallery of work that feels alive. It’s honest, energetic, and deeply personal, just like Rachel’s practice. If you're looking for a lifestyle or wellness photographer who brings art, soul, and intentionality into your brand, then this is what I do best.
